Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Role Overview:
A dynamic and visionary professional to lead Digitization & Analytics department. As the Head of Department (HOD), you will play a pivotal role in transforming and optimizing sourcing processes through digital innovation and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and strategic thinking to drive impactful results across projects and initiatives, while fostering an environment of growth and collaboration within the team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team skilled in digitization and analytics.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning to align team objectives with organizational goals.
• Plan and execute training programs to groom the team on emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies.

Project Management & Output Monitoring

• Oversee the execution and timely delivery of digitization and analytics projects to meet stakeholder expectations.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure high-quality project outputs and measurable outcomes.

Digitization Initiatives

• Lead the digitization of sourcing processes in collaboration with SSU HODs, Commodity Heads (CHs), and the SSU Head / Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).
• Spearhead the transformation of upstream sourcing processes (SOR to VOB) using advanced platforms like 3DX.
• Support and implement Project Vihaan with a focus on NPD (New Product Development), APQP, and ROCM (Request of Change Management).

Analytics Development & Sustenance

• Develop and maintain Sourcing Analytics and Spend Analytics modules on platforms such as QlikSense and #D-Cube to support data-driven decision-making and cost-saving insights.
• Advance analytical capabilities by leveraging Python and similar technologies for predictive modeling and spend analytics.

AI & Advanced Applications

• Lead the development of cutting-edge AI-based modules for key sourcing functions, including:
• Negotiation co-pilot.
• Supplier 360-degree insights.
• Predictive pricing models.
• Supply chain nerve centre analytics.

Budget & Financial Management

• Manage departmental budgets effectively, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Oversee and ensure timely processing of purchase orders (POs), contracts, agreements, and payments.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related field.

General Experience

10+ years of experience in digitization, analytics, or sourcing functions, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
