About the Role An experienced IT Lead to manage the technology footprint of our organization. The lead shall be responsible to spearhead the tech transformation of the Company. The IT Lead will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day functioning of Software & Hardware and will assist the Head of IT in the deployment of new initiatives. Reporting To : Head of the IT Department Roles and responsibilities Manage day-to-day support of Technology related issues Oversee tech vendors including deployment of new features, reporting of bugs and payment management Procurement of hardware including laptops, accessories and other equipment Document SOPs and Help Guides on new / existing deployment Manage the IT helpdesk and ensure swift resolution of tickets Assist with monthly reporting on the IT department Have basic knowledge of the ERP to assist with L1 and L2 issues Manage Office 365 including user management, access controls, file management systems Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts & Integrate different service providers Record, manage, analyse and report all costs incurred with comments whether cost avoidable and if avoidable how to minimize Ensure smooth onboarding of new employees as it relates to technology Monthly reconciliation of users on various Software Systems Requirements Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field, Masters in CS will be preferred Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in the field of IT (Software) Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications Experience handling support issues related to Hardware and Software Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills Strong written communication and attention to detail is critical Ability to understand a users issue and communicate the same to vendors or stakeholders Technical Skills: The candidate must be comfortable with Email Servers, Firewalls, SQL, Oracle, Database systems, Excel Macros & cloud based SaaS softwares.
