Responsibilities: Assist in Equipment Installation: Support senior fitters and technicians in the installation of mechanical systems and equipment, which may include pumps, valves, conveyor systems, or other machinery. Maintenance and Repair: Assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment by disassembling, cleaning, and replacing parts or components as directed. Hand Tools and Equipment: Properly handle and use a variety of hand tools and equipment required for the job, such as wrenches, spanners, power tools, and measuring instruments. Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Material Handling: Assist in the handling and transportation of materials, parts, and tools within the workshop or construction site. Maintain an organized and safe work area. Documentation: Maintain records of work activities, including equipment maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate. Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with the lead fitter, other team members, and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and according to project or maintenance schedules.
