What would you do? Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations. Procurement Operations involve the process of acquiring goods and services that a business needs to operate. This includes identifying needs, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders. The goal is to obtain quality products at the best possible prices while ensuring timely delivery. Effective procurement operations help control costs, maintain supply chain efficiency, and support overall business objectives. They are essential for the smooth functioning of any organization. Analyze and design the best practices for tactical and transactional procurement processes. Plan implementation based on detailed understanding of technologies involved and best practice process output measures. Provide the setup and ongoing maintenance of suppliers, catalog content, user authorization data and procurement applications to provide efficient and effective transactions, and to help maximize compliance.
What are we looking for? • Bachelor s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field preferred. • Proven experience in Document management or Quality documentation role. • Strong diligence and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. • Effective communication, prioritize workload. • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices. • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. • Ability to work comfortably with all levels of the organization and fast-paced team environment. • Initiative-taker, multi-task, flexible, demonstrating initiative and confidence. • Thorough/detailed approach to work • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member, with success contributing to a collaborative environment. • Excellent communication skills written and verbal including formal presentation skills (needs to be able to build relationships over the phone without meeting suppliers /?customers on a regular basis) • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills • Adaptable communication ability to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers.
Roles and Responsibilities: • Manage the required document list or Master Document Register - ‘MDR’. • Maintain data and audit trail in a Document Management System - ‘DMS’. • Receive and register documents from our suppliers. • Control our review of supplier documents – both deliverables (to Customer) and non- deliverables (to internal recipients). • Ensure the quality of documentation. • Maintain ‘revision control’. • Lead Document Controllers based in UK will distribute ‘deliverables’ to Customer and record their comments. Level 2 . • Lead Document Controllers based in UK will report to the project leadership on documentation progress and issues. Level 2 . • We’re responsible for processing documentation in Oracle Primavera Unifier. • Responsible for ensuring that the documents you process comply with quality standards. • Responsible for processing documentation within the required timeline. • We should be aware of each of our active projects and their unique requirements. • We’ll be supporting all our projects and will be required to be flexible enough to work on multiple projects in a short timeframe. • We’re also responsible for the quality of our documentation and must ensure that our engineers and our suppliers deliver to our standards.
