1) Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project. 2) Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements. 3) Obtain permits and licenses (manpower, equipment & materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations. 4) Plan all interior operations & schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met, 5) Acquire equipment & material & monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies. 6) Hire contractors and other staff & allocate responsibilities. 7) Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. & give them guidance when needed. 8) Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports. 9) Ensure adherence to all health & safety standards & report issues. 10) Define the project scope 11) Create & manage an interior project budget. 12) Create an interior project management plan. 13) Negotiate interior design with general contractors & subcontractors to obtain profitable construction contracts. 14) Develop an interior work schedule, with project deliverable & milestones. 15) Keep inventory of tools, equipment & machinery. 16) Reporting to the project head & top management. 17) Overseas the performance of the general contractor, site manager & other members of the construction team.
