Overall Job Purpose: This role is predominantly based at our Navi Mumbai office in India and includes regular interaction with other geographically located teams. The FI Analyst will work closely with the UK based System support team providing day to day support for several SAP landscapes. Key Responsibilities: ● Responsible for daily monitoring duties in line with Clients SLA’s ● Creation of FI master data elements - GL accounts, cost centres etc. ● Will be required to undertake Configuration in the SAP FI module as required ● Be responsible for first line support of Incidents raised against the Finance resolver group ● Will be required to support Unit and Regression testing ● Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO modules. ● Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions. ● Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, solve Problems ● Document functional designs, test cases and results. ● Experience in IDOC, Workflow and interface ● Configuration of SAP FI, CO modules in IMG based on business requirements Qualifications: Essential ● Educated to degree level in Finance or Accounting Desirable ● Must have SAP FI module Certification Experience: Essential • Will have at least 4 -5 years SAP support experience in a multinational client environment • Experience in implementing SAP Finance and Controlling. The implementation and delivery experience should include full project lifecycles. • Understanding of the Finance integration areas with other modules particularly Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM). • Experience in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting (CPA) and Internal Orders • Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM. • Strong SAP Finance and Controlling (SAP FI/CO ) configuration experience, with the ability to explain key Finance business processes • Understanding of complex tax determination procedures such as triangulation • An ability to understand basic ABAP code would be an advantage as would any exposure to Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) Desirable ● Experience of working with a UK office ● Experience of working with a Logistics Company ● Experience in GST implementation ● Should have experience in at least one end to end implementation and two support projects.
