Sr. Accountant is responsible for the providing end to end accounting services for the assigned clients. The services will include Year-end accounts, Corporation tax, Personal tax, Management accounts, VAT, Project Costing and any one-off assignments requested by the client. Main responsibilities: • To ensure annual statutory accounts, management accounts and any other reporting requirements are completed to professional standards and within agreed timescales. • To ensure that tax returns (Corporation Tax and Personal Tax) are completed to professional standards and within agreed timescales. • To ensure that VAT returns are completed to professional standards and within agreed timescales. Should be aware about Cash Scheme, Accrual Scheme, FRS Scheme, Marginal Scheme etc. • Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team environment. • Avoid trivial or duplicate requests. Keeping Hawk-Eye informed on the progress. • Regularly update client on job status and also highlight potential client issues. Ability to get client involved in any critical issue at the right time. • Ensuring the project is complying with the quality management standards and striving for continual improvement. • Any other additional responsibility to commensurate with project requirements. Supporting responsibilities: • Helping team members from other projects as and when the time permits. Qualification: • B.Com, M.com, Inter CA Experience: • 2 - 3 Years (excluding article ship training). Work timings: • 12 to 21:30 TECHNICAL Skills 1. Journal entries 2. Bank reconciliation 3. Ledger Scrutiny 1. Booking closing accounting entries – (Depreciation / Accruals / Prepayments etc) 2. Preparing Trading, Profit & Loss account and Balance Sheet. Experience within an accounting practice. COMPUTER SKILLS 1. Knowledge of MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Outlook 2. Well versed with the technicalities of Accounting packages: Sage Line 50 Xero Quickbooks Digita Iris OTHER SKILLS • Strong organisational and project management skills. • Should be very good in Communication – has to interact directly with end client • An enthusiastic team player who is equally comfortable working with a team or alone. • Ability to influence others in support of change. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Flexible attitude to work, with ability to prioritise and multi-tas
