Perform installation and service of low voltage category cabling, fiber optic cabling, communications cabling, communication equipment and other various low voltage related systems such as Category 3, Category 5, Enhanced Category 5, Category 6 and Fiber Optic Structured Cable Distribution Systems. Undertakes the installation of data equipment, including data racks, patch panels, cable trays, etc. Performs cabling installations, including New Commercial Data, Voice, Fiber Optic and Paging Builds and installs racks, dresses and terminates closets, carries out tests and troubleshoots. Labels, pulls, and terminates cable. Keeps cable neatly tied and bundled while maintaining safety standard Utilizes appropriate testing equipment to test installed cables Coordinate with other Team Members within Operations for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently.
