Assistant Manager - EHS
Responsibilities
Enhancing Safety Culture:
- Foster and promote a strong safety culture within the solar manufacturing site, emphasizing the importance of safety among all employees and contractors.
Safety Management System Enhancement
- Improve and enhance the Safety Management System (SMS) at the project area, ensuring it effectively identifies, assesses, and mitigates safety risks.
EHS Inspection and Audit
- Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Aspects and Impacts Identification
- Identify environmental aspects and impacts of operations within the project area, developing strategies to minimize environmental risks and enhance sustainability.
Compliance Assurance
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, industry standards, and internal guidelines related to occupational health, safety, and environmental practices.
Incident Investigation and Reporting
- Lead investigations into safety incidents and near misses, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Training and Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs on safety procedures, hazard identification, emergency response, and environmental protection measures.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety performance, implementing best practices and lessons learned from incidents and audits.

- Project Managers

- Contractors and subcontractors
- Regulatory authorities

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Work Experience (Range of years):
- Min 2-5 years in construction or industrial safety management.
