Responsibilities

• Operational Controllership & Month-End Excellence:
  • Lead the Month-End Closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee the SAP Material Ledger (ML) run to ensure accurate actual costing and inventory valuation.
  • Manage Expense Provisions: Drive the process for provision postings and ensure timely reversals against actual bookings to prevent budget leakage.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Revenue Recognition standards and Incoterms for domestic and international shipments.
• Strategic Partnering & Cost Leadership:
  • Partner with the Plant Head on Make vs. Buy and Hire vs. Buy analyses to optimize resource allocation.
  • Lead the Annual Budgeting cycle and provide actionable insights through Budget vs. Actual and Variance Analysis.
  • Champion Cost Reduction Initiatives and productivity tracking across all manufacturing cost centers.
• Governance, Inventory & Scrap Management:
  • Serve as a core member of the Scrap Management Committee, ensuring high integrity in the disposal process and process transparency.
  • Own the Internal Control framework for plant operations, ensuring zero audit lapses.
  • Lead Quarterly Physical Inventory Verification and Annual Fixed Asset Verification.

Qualifications

• Qualifications: M. Com / CA or CMA / ICWA with 8–12 years of experience in heavy manufacturing.
• SAP Expertise: Mandatory hands-on experience in SAP FICO, MM, FM, and Material Ledger (ML).
