Job Title: Placement Head – Skill Development

Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Placement Head to lead the placement and career services for our skill development programs. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain relationships with companies, ensure high placement rates for trainees, and strategize employment initiatives to enhance career opportunities.
- Key Responsibilities:Placement Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a structured placement strategy to achieve high employment rates for trained candidates.
- Industry & Employer Engagement: Build partnerships with companies, industry leaders, and recruiters to create job opportunities.
- Job Mapping & Career Counseling: Assess job market trends and align training programs with industry demands. Provide career guidance to candidates.
- Campus & Job Fairs: Organize job fairs, campus drives, and employer interaction sessions to connect trainees with potential employers.
- Networking & Partnerships: Collaborate with corporate HR teams, staffing agencies, and industry associations to expand placement opportunities.
- Alumni & Success Stories Management: Track alumni placements and create success stories to promote the training program.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain placement records, analyze employment trends, and prepare reports for management.
- Soft Skills & Employability Training: Work with trainers to enhance trainees' interview skills, resume building, and workplace readiness.
- RequirementsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in placement coordination, corporate relations, or recruitment, preferably in skill development programs.
- Strong industry network and experience in engaging with corporate HR teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Knowledge of government and private-sector skill development initiatives is a plus.
