We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and versatile Associate Product Designer to join our Namaste India Handicraft team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for design and innovation, with the ability to conceptualize and develop unique products across categories like apparels, home décor, crockery, and other handcrafted items.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on design, vendor collaboration, and market research to bring authentic, aesthetically pleasing, and market-ready products to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design new handcrafted products aligned with brand aesthetics.
• Develop prototypes and product samples with artisans and vendors.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, materials, and design inspirations.
• Coordinate with production, sourcing, and merchandising teams for execution.
• Maintain design documentation, sketches, and technical specifications.
• Travel across India (as needed) for vendor visits, exhibitions, and market expansion activities.
• Ensure design quality, functionality, and market appeal of all product lines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Fine Arts, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of hands-on experience in product or industrial design.
• Strong creative thinking and visual design skills.
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or CAD).
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Passion for handicrafts, Indian artistry, and product innovation.
• Willingness to travel pan-India for market research and vendor collaboration.
• A strong portfolio showcasing product design work is mandatory.
