Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Cricket Anchor & Writer to join our team. If you are a cricket enthusiast with a flair for storytelling and have the confidence to present your ideas on camera, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! You will be responsible for creating exciting cricket-related content in English, both in front of the camera as an anchor and behind the scenes as a scriptwriter.

Key Responsibilities:

•             Anchor: Present and host cricket-related videos, including match previews, reviews, player profiles, and special features on our YouTube channel.

•             Content Creation: Research and develop scripts for videos on trending topics, ongoing series, and cricket analysis.

•             Live Commentary: Host live shows, engage with viewers, and provide real-time insights on cricket matches and breaking news.

•             Collaborate with Creative Team: Work closely with our production and editing teams to brainstorm ideas and deliver engaging content.

•             Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest news, trends, and stats in the world of cricket, ensuring our content remains timely and relevant.

Skills & Qualifications:

•             Strong Cricket Knowledge: A deep passion for and understanding of cricket, including its rules, players, teams, and strategies.

•             Excellent Communication: Fluent in English with clear articulation and a charismatic screen presence.

•             Scriptwriting Experience: Proven ability to write engaging and informative scripts for videos, articles, or blogs.

•             Presentation Skills: Confidence in front of the camera with the ability to connect with and engage a global audience.

•             Creative Thinking: Ability to generate fresh, unique content ideas that resonate with cricket fans.

•             Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with YouTube, video creation, social media platforms, and basic editing software is a plus.

•             Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including covering live events, weekend matches, and breaking news as needed.

Preferred Experience:

•             Prior experience as a YouTube anchor, sports presenter, or cricket journalist.

•             Experience in live commentary or video hosting for a digital platform.

•             A portfolio of previous content (video or written) related to cricket is highly desirable.
