Restaurant: By The Bay

Position: Steward / Waiter

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating.
• Present menus and explain food, beverage, and daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks as per restaurant service standards.
• Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of tables, service stations, and dining areas.
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen, bar, and cashier teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and escalate when required.
• Upsell menu items, beverages, desserts, and special promotions.
• Ensure bills are presented accurately and payments are processed correctly.
• Follow hygiene, grooming, and safety standards at all times.
• RequirementsMinimum 1 year experience in a restaurant, café, bar, or hospitality establishment.
• Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English.
• Pleasant personality with a guest-first attitude.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and service etiquette preferred.
• Performance Indicators (KPIs)Guest satisfaction and feedback scores.
• Sales and upselling performance.
• Order accuracy and service speed.
• Attendance, punctuality, and grooming standards.
• Compliance with SOPs and hygiene standards.

Reporting To: Captain / Floor Supervisor / Restaurant Manager
