# Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining metal parts together using various welding techniques and equipment. You will work on a variety of projects, including construction, manufacturing, and repair of metal products and structures.

# Key Responsibilities:

1. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements

2. Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and cutting

3. Operate various welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welders

4. Weld metal parts together using appropriate techniques and materials

5. Inspect welds for quality and accuracy

6. Repair and maintain welding equipment and tools

7. Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

8. Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines

# Requirements:

1. 2+ years of welding experience

2. High school diploma or equivalent

3. Welding certification (AWS or ASME)

4. Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures

5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings

6. Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment

7. Strong attention to detail and quality control

# Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with various welding processes (MIG, TIG, arc)

2. Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties

# Work Environment:

1. Work in a manufacturing or construction setting

2. May be required to work at heights or in confined spaces

3. May be exposed to noise, dust, and fumes
