Job Title: Senior Barista

Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Barista to join our team! As a Barista, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation:

1. Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, coffee, tea, and other beverages.

2. Follow recipes and guidelines for drink preparation.

3. Maintain quality and consistency in every drink.

Customer Service:

1. Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues.

2. Greet customers, take orders, and process transactions.

3. Develop relationships with regular customers.

Cafe Maintenance:

1. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, equipment, and surrounding areas.

2. Restock supplies, syrups, and ingredients.

3. Perform daily cleaning tasks.

Team Support:

1. Assist colleagues with drink preparation and customer service.

2. Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

3. Contribute to maintaining a positive and supportive team environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Manage cash and credit transactions accurately.

2. Maintain knowledge of menu, ingredients, and promotions.

3. Participate in inventory management and ordering.

4. Adhere to health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

1. 2 year of experience as a Barista (preferred).

2. Knowledge of coffee preparation methods and ingredients.

3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

5. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

6. Physical ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification in coffee preparation (e.g., Barista Certification).

2. Experience with point-of-sale systems.

3. Knowledge of coffee roasting and brewing methods.

Work Environment:

1. Fast-paced cafe environment.

2. Frequent standing, bending, and lifting.

3. Exposure to noise and caffeine.
