Company Secretary / CS Articleship

Job Summary

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Company Secretary pursuing/ inter qualified to ensure legal compliance, support the board, and drive corporate governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Advise the board on statutory duties, regulatory changes, and best practices.

- Prepare and maintain minutes of board, committee, and shareholder meetings.

- Ensure timely filing of annual returns, board resolutions, and other statutory documents with MCA, ROC, and other authorities.

- Manage corporate records, share‑transfer registers, and secretarial registers.

- Coordinate with auditors, lawyers, and consultants for compliance matters.

- Oversee corporate governance policies, codes of conduct, and internal controls.

- Assist in shareholder communications and handling of queries.

- Support the CEO/MD in strategic initiatives and corporate restructuring.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of Companies Act, and other applicable laws.

- Proficiency in MS Office and secretarial software (e.g., e‑Filing portal).

Skills

- Strong analytical and drafting abilities.

- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Integrity and professional ethics.
