As a Desktop Support Engineer, your primary responsibility is to provide technical assistance and support to end-users within an organization. You will handle issues related to computer systems, hardware, software, and network connectivity. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Respond to support tickets, calls, or emails and resolve user issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights through Active Directory or other identity management systems.
• Provide support for Microsoft Windows, Office applications, and standard enterprise tools.
• Assist in setting up and configuring new systems and applications.
• Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Keep records of issues and solutions to build a knowledge base.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical problems.
• Educate and guide users on best practices and IT policies.
