Job Description

• Role: Google Cloud Engineer
• Skillset: GCP, Kubernates, Docker, CI/CD
• Experience: 4-6 years
• Location: Noida and Chennai

Required Skillset:

1. 4-6 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on GCP.
2. Strong experience with GCP services including GKE, GCE, Cloud DNS, VPC, Cloud Storage, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud logging, Cloud Nat , Anthos Service Mesh.
3. Proficiency in Docker and Docker Compose.
4. Experience with build tools like Maven and Gradle.
5. Strong knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD and Jenkins shared library concept.
6. Familiarity with code quality tools like SonarQube.
7. Experience with JFrog Artifactory.
8. Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture.
9. Basic knowledge of different application servers, like – Jboss, Wildfly and Websphere
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
11. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
12. Understanding of monitoring tool like Prometheus.
13. Deep understanding of Helm Charts .
14. Good Understanding Infrastructure provisioning tool such as Terraform.
15. Proficient in different scripting languages like Bash, Python and Groovy.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize GCP services such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Google Compute Engine (GCE), Cloud DNS, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Cloud Storage, and Cloud Monitoring.
2. Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud applications.
3. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
4. Use Docker and Docker Compose for containerization and orchestration.
5. Manage build tools like Maven and Gradle.
6. Integrate and maintain code quality tools such as SonarQube.
7. Manage artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory.
8. Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
9. Ensure security best practices and compliance with industry standards.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
11. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps.

Good to have Certifications:

1. CKA Certified
2. GCP certification (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
