Job Description

  • HR Manager (Hotels) – Roles and Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Staffing Identify manpower requirements for all hotel departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, Security, etc.).
  • Source, interview, and hire qualified staff to maintain service standards.
  • Manage onboarding, joining formalities, and induction programs.
  • 2. Employee Relations Maintain a positive work environment to ensure team harmony.
  • Address employee grievances professionally and resolve conflicts.
  • Promote a culture of respect, teamwork, and service excellence.
  • 3. Training & DevelopmentConduct orientation for new employees.
  • Organize regular training sessions on guest service, grooming, safety, and soft skills.
  • Monitor performance and ensure continuous skill development.
  • 4. Attendance & Payroll Management Manage attendance, leaves, and shift scheduling.
  • Coordinate with accounts for salary processing, payroll inputs, and compliance.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records.
  • 5. Performance Management Set KPIs for different hotel roles.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback.
  • Identify high performers and plan growth opportunities.
  • 6. Policy Implementation & Compliance Implement HR policies as per industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, safety regulations, and hotel SOPs.
  • Maintain updated documentation like contracts, ID proofs, and statutory records.
  • 7. Employee Engagement Plan engagement activities to boost morale (festive events, awards, team-building).
  • Encourage a productive and motivated workforce.
  • Reduce employee turnover through retention strategies.
  • 8. Disciplinary Management Handle misconduct, disciplinary actions, and warnings fairly.
  • Ensure hotel rules and service standards are consistently followed.
  • 9. Safety & Hygiene Oversight Monitor staff hygiene, grooming standards, and safety practices.
  • Collaborate with departments to maintain a safe working environment.
  • 10. Coordination & Communication Act as a bridge between employees and senior management.
  • Coordinate with department heads for staffing and operational needs.
  • Support management in strategic planning and organizational development.
