Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who can handle daily accounting work, taxation, payroll compliance, and financial reporting. The candidate should have good knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS, EPF, ESI, E-Invoicing, and E-Way Bills.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally.
• Prepare and record sales, purchase, payment, and receipt entries.
• Manage GST-related work, including return filing and reconciliation.
• Calculate and file TDS returns and ensure timely compliance.
• Handle EPF and ESI calculations, deductions, and monthly filings.
• Generate and manage E-Invoices and E-Way Bills as per government regulations.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing.
• Prepare MIS reports and other financial reports for management.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government departments when required.
• Ensure all accounting records are accurate and up to date.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

• Good understanding of GST, TDS, EPF, and ESI regulations.
• Experience in E-Invoicing and E-Way Bill generation.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting reports.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualification: B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
• Preferred CandidateDetail-oriented and organized.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, trading, or service industry will be an advantage.
