Lab Technician – Job Description

Responsibilities

Collect blood/urine/stool samples safely.

Perform routine tests (CBC, Sugar, LFT, KFT, Serology, Urine/Stool).

Operate and maintain lab machines daily.

Prepare accurate reports and enter results in HIMS.

Maintain reagent stock and cleanliness of lab.

Follow infection control & biomedical waste rules.

Maintain polite and professional patient interaction.

TAT: Reports delivered on time.

Accuracy: Zero major errors in results.

Machine Maintenance: Daily calibration; no unexpected breakdowns.

Inventory: No stock-out of reagents/consumables.

Conduct: Zero patient
