Ward Attendant

Ward Attendants required at Mind Management Institute, PCMC, Pune, Maharashtra. 

Position: Residential Attendant (Male posts = 6; Female posts =5) 

Reports To: Ward In-Charge 

Location: Mind Management Institute, PCMC Area, Pune, Maharashtra. 

Job Summary: Support patients with daily living activities, safety, and basic care under the supervision of nursing and clinical staff. Help maintain a clean, calm, and safe environment in the wards (male & female).

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Patient Care & Assistance

  - Help patients with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, toileting), dressing, and feeding if needed.

  - Assist with medication administration timings (under the ward in-charge’s supervision).

  - Ensure patients attend scheduled therapy sessions, meals, and activities on time.

2. Safety & Monitoring

  - Continuously observe patients for self‑harm risk or aggression.

  - Report any unusual incidents, distress signals, or safety concerns to doctors & counsellors immediately.

  - Enforce ward safety rules (no sharp objects, restricted items, infection control).

3. Ward Maintenance

  - Keep patient rooms, bathrooms, dining, and common areas clean and tidy.

  - Change bedsheets and manage laundry (collect & drop).

  - Maintain proper stock of supplies (clothes, toiletries, stationery, etc).
