Job Description
- Process Planning & Optimization: Designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Production Scheduling & Monitoring: Managing daily schedules, setting production targets, and supervising manufacturing lines to ensure timely delivery.
- Quality Control: Establishing standards, inspecting products, and ensuring compliance with industry safety guidelines.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Scheduling preventative maintenance for machinery, repairing equipment, and resolving production bottlenecks to reduce downtime.
- Technical Documentation: Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety manuals.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyzing data to enhance operational efficiency (e.g., using Lean or Six Sigma techniques).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinating with design, procurement, and quality control departments to streamline workflows.
- Training & Supervision: Training staff on new equipment and supervising technical teams.
