Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Configure and manage virtual networks, storage, compute, and security services.
• Monitor cloud environments to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, logging, firewalls, and compliance standards.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or ECS/AKS/GKE.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide operational support for cloud platforms.
• Evaluate and adopt new cloud services to enhance system scalability and reliability.
• Work with development, DevOps, and security teams to support application deployment and automation.
• Maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform:

• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools:
• 
  
• Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates
• Hands-on expertise in Linux/Windows administration.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC/VNet, subnets, DNS, load balancers, VPNs).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with containers & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of monitoring & logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Experience with automation & scripting:

• Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices.
