Typical Duties and Activities - Data Engineer   Collaborate with business colleagues to identify and define opportunities to use data to drive solutions for business challenges   Model, collate and extract data to supply reports and solutions to colleagues within the business   Develop reports and dashboards on MS Power BI  Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results   Create clear reports that tell compelling stories about how customers or clients work with the business   Assess the effectiveness of data sources and data-gathering techniques and improve data collection methods   Stay up to date with the latest technology, techniques and methods   Support the team in looking for opportunities to use insights/datasets/code/models across other functions in the organisation   Document solution including source-to-target mappings and data dictionary. Essential Skills   A good understanding of how data solutions satisfy business requirements and the consequences of sub-optimal design   Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English   Extensive experience with SQL coding and SQL Server databases.    Extensive experience delivering data solutions using Databricks    Extensive experience designing and creating Power BI dashboards and reports   Experience of Extract, Transform and Load technologies and techniques.   Familiarity with the Azure ecosystyem ( DataBricks, DataFactory, KeyVault, LogicApps )   Experience in developing and delivering solutions on a Visualisation tool, ideally MS Power BI   Must be able to collaborate with colleagues with and without technical expertise.   Useful Skills   Excel coding skills   Familiaity with Python or R    Experience building algorithm and training models for Machine Learning projects   Education & Experience   3 + years of experience in a relevant Development/Data Engineer or Analytics role.   Preferably a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering    Preferably a qualification in Data Science relevant to the technology stack What you can expect from us:  Have multiple interactions with different stakeholders internally and externally  A culture known for respectful interaction, ethical behavior and integrity where sustainability matters  Potential to see your ideas realized and to make an impact on technically interesting projects 79061 Data & Visualization Engineer  New challenges and new things to learn every day  Plenty of opportunities to grow and develop  Global job opportunities, as part of the Atlas Copco Group
