Ø Should be able to build value propositions Ø Build broad level concepts and cost estimates. Ø Build technical comparison of different make components. Ø Support "should cost" analysis based on industry best practices & competitive intelligence. Ø Better understanding of current product, engineering changes, future product design, material cost increase offset etc.
