Enterprise Solution Architect

Project Role : Enterprise Solution Architect
Project Role Description : Lead the development of complex solutions across multi-tower and/or multi- service transformational opportunities. Architect end-to-end integrated solutions leveraging the best mix of offerings, assets, and capabilities to maximize value for the client and Accenture. Ensure alignment of solution to client’s organization goals.

Summary:
As an Enterprise Solution Architect, you will lead the development of complex solutions across various transformational opportunities. A typical day involves collaborating with diverse teams to architect end-to-end integrated solutions that leverage a mix of offerings and capabilities, ensuring alignment with client goals and maximizing value for both the client and the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have influencing and advisory skills.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and align on solution design.
- Mentor junior professionals in best practices and solution architecture methodologies.
- Own delivery of solution architecture and technology designs for core function program
- Own and manage relevant the architecture governance and controls for the program - CTO, CSO and CDO
- Own and manage relationships with the Program or Project Manager, Product Owner and Business Analyst for the assigned program
- Oversee Technical Product Ownership for Core Functions
- Support the development of wider systems strategy and plan for the supported business area
- Development and support of junior team members.


Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Tech Solution Architecture, Solution Architecture, Agile Project Management, Program Project Management.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing architectures and services.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and technologies.
- Ability to analyze and optimize system performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in solution architecture.
- Solution Development - Extensive experience creating fit for purpose technology solutions that are deliverable, meet business need, and correspond to organizational strategic guidance
- IT Architecture – Substantial experience of application integration and implementation issues and their architectural implications. Excellent understanding of best practice architectural and design methods along with the appropriate governance and controls
- Technical Knowledge - A very good broad understanding of a wide variety of technologies pertinent to Barclaycard, with notable substantial knowledge and experience in specific technology areas.
- Stakeholder Management - Able and confident to challenge stakeholders creatively and professionally to create solutions which meet all of the above criteria but which are not necessarily obvious responses to pre-defined requests.
- Stakeholder Management and Leadership: As Technical Leads on Core Functions program, the applicants will be required to engage with Business Product Owners and Core Functions Teams for project delivery and business analysis. They will own the relationship with Technical Governance Stakeholders - CTO, CSO, CDO.
- Decision-making and Problem Solving: The role requires the ownership and clear articulation of business / technical challenges, structured evaluation of potential solutions, including external market and internal options. Driving out decisions and business requirements that aligns to internal policy, external regulation and supports the architectural, resilience and non functional requirements processes.
- Risk and Control Objective: Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Tech Solution Architecture.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- Project Delivery - Understands different project methodologies, project lifecycles, major phases, dependencies and milestones within a project, and the required documentation needs.
- Vendor Evaluation – Ability to understand how and where third part products could be deployed. Good knowledge of vendor evaluation and selection best practice.
- Planning - Experienced with planning, estimating, staffing, organizing, and working on multiple projects. Has monitored and dealt with critical paths and risks areas
- Service Delivery - Good understanding of concepts of service delivery and support and how this can be affected by technical delivery.
