Key Responsibilities:

● Ensure that all products and processes comply with the latest FSSAI regulations.

● Stay updated on any changes to FSSAI guidelines and ensure their implementation within the organization.

● Develop, maintain, and update Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) documentation.

● Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective measures as per HACCP protocols.

● Ensure all food products are accurately labeled as per national and international food labeling regulations (FSSAI, FDA etc.)

● Verify ingredient listings, nutritional information, and allergen declarations etc on packaging to avoid any non-compliance.

● Conduct routine checks on product labels for accuracy and legal compliance.

● Implement and monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) within the production environment.

● Provide training on GMP & GHP to staff and ensure continuous improvement in food safety processes.

● Assist in conducting internal and external audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

● Bachelor’s or Higher degree in Food Science & Technology or related discipline.

● In-depth knowledge of FSSAI Regulations, HACCP, GMP, and GHP.

● Familiarity with food labeling regulations and compliance procedures.

● Experience in handling documentation related to food safety audits and inspections.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to train and educate staff on food safety practices.

Experience:

Minimum 1.5 to 3 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a related role.
