Job description Lead and foster a culture of continuous technical, procedural and QA improvement within the context of projects Build and develop professional profile by consistently demonstrating an ability to successfully deliver the projects Attend conferences, seminars, and workshops for Engineering, bringing back learning and disseminating the information to the team Close and proactive liaison with Clients to manage service expectations and commitments Guide the adherence to professional standards, ethics and client quality procedures and standards by the Project Team Reliably support Project Leads (PL s) in completing projects in terms of program,profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction. Execute project modelling, detailing documentation services Demonstrate an understanding of multiple discipline design outside of core discipline knowledge. Bring value by meaningful contribution to internal design team meetings; share experiences, make design suggestions, question evolving design intents etc. Understanding and resolving design conflicts. Carryout internal review of documents / drawings (self-verification checklists). Drive development of tools, processes, and standards, together with improvement and innovation opportunities. Attend project review meetings Communicate with project teams to receive, coordinate, and update BIM models Invest conscious ongoing effort to develop designer abilities, product knowledge and construction understanding through interactions with Engineers,personal research, reading of codes, study, and site inspections under the guidance of the PL Develop a reputation for reliability and consistency Invest conscious effort to promote effective written and verbal communication skills. The satisfactory completion of any Client projects in terms of program, profitability, risk management (contractual technical) and overall Client satisfaction Highlight with PL s the risk associated with tasks outside of skillset Qualifications: Professionally qualified Engineer, MEng, or BEng (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering 8+ years of relevant experience in Civil buildings and/or land development projects and at least 5 years of experience working on and managing Civil Engineering design projects Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to work in collaborative multi-discipline engineering environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to make decisions independently and strong problem resolutions skills Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff, technical specialist and manage interfaces across the regions Have excellent data manipulation abilities (MS Excel/MS Access database type packages) Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D , Civil3D , Infraworks, Revit , InRoads , Open Roads and 12D preferred Experience using common data environment, such as Navis works, BIM 360 etc. for coordinated model and clash detection, is preferred Role Civil Engineer Industry Type Engineering & Construction
