Job Description
The Sr. Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales, market expansion, and managing key relationships within the Maharashtra region. This role requires a strong techno-commercial background, deep knowledge of the construction cycle, and a proven track record in selling B2B/Project-based building materials, especially Aluminum Formwork or related scaffolding/shuttering solutions, to high-rise builders , developers and contractors.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy and Target Achievement
• Develop and Execute: Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve aggressive monthly/quarterly/annual sales and revenue targets in the assigned territory (primarily in Maharashtra region).
• Market Analysis: Conduct continuous market research, monitor competitor activity, and identify new business opportunities and upcoming high-rise residential and commercial projects.
• Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and pipeline reports for senior management review.
2. Business Development and Client Relationship Management
• Lead Generation: Actively prospect, generate, and qualify new leads by targeting Builders, Developers, Contractors, Architects, and Project Management Consultants (PMCs) involved in high-volume, repetitive construction projects.
• Key Account Management: Build, nurture, and maintain long-term, profitable relationships with key accounts and decision-makers in the Pune construction industry.
• Technical Sales: Lead techno-commercial discussions, prepare project-specific commercial offers, and deliver compelling product presentations showcasing the technical advantages (speed, quality, cost-effectiveness) of aluminum formwork solutions.
• Negotiation and Closure: Lead contract negotiations, finalize sales deals, and ensure all contract terms and compliance requirements are met.
3. Team Leadership and Operations
• Team Management: Develop, Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Sales/Senior Sales Executives to ensure peak performance and adherence to sales processes.
• Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the Design, Estimation, Production, and Operations teams to ensure tailored solutions, accurate project costing, and smooth, timely delivery and service.
• CRM Management: Ensure all sales activities, client data, and project pipelines are accurately logged and updated in the company's CRM system.
Required Qualifications and Experience
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
o Minimum 8-10 years of B2B sales experience in the Construction, Building Materials, or Infrastructure industry.
o Mandatory 3+ years of specific experience selling Aluminum Formwork Systems (or closely related products like steel/wooden formwork, scaffolding, or shuttering).
o Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in the Pune/Maharashtra region.
• Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the construction project life cycle, formwork technologies, and the local real estate and construction market dynamics in Pune.

• Techno-Commercial Acumen: Ability to blend technical product knowledge with commercial negotiation skills.
• Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Negotiation & Closing: Strong proficiency in high-value contract negotiation and deal closure.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute effective short-term and long-term sales strategies.
• Networking: Established network and rapport with Maharashtra’s top-tier builders/developers/contractors is a significant advantage.
• Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within Pune and the assigned territory.
