Account Assistant

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Account Assistant to support our finance operations within a fast-growing e-commerce environment. The role involves managing daily accounting tasks such as reconciling online sales, monitoring payment gateways, tracking order-wise revenue, and assisting with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance. You will work closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure accurate recording of expenses, vendor payments, returns, and marketplace settlements across platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and a keen eye for numbers, with prior exposure to e-commerce finance being a plus. Responsibilities also include preparing financial reports, supporting monthly/quarterly closing activities, and maintaining updated records for audits. The role requires proficiency in Excel or accounting software, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
