About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations for our manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will own the full books — from daily entries to monthly MIS and annual audit — with deep hands-on proficiency in Tally Prime.

Key Responsibilities•    Day-to-day bookkeeping: Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally Prime — sales, purchase, journal, receipt, and payment entries on a daily basis.

•    GST compliance: Handle monthly GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual GSTR-9 filings. Reconcile 2A/2B with purchase register. Manage ITC claims and GST audit support.

•    TDS & direct tax: Compute and deduct TDS on all applicable payments. File TDS returns (24Q, 26Q). Assist in advance tax computation and income tax filing coordination with CA.

•    Bank & ledger reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliation, party ledger reconciliation, and ageing analysis of receivables and payables.

•    MIS & financial reporting: Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and cost-centre reports. Present MIS to management with variance analysis.

•    Inventory & costing: Maintain stock ledger in Tally, track material inward/outward, and assist in basic cost-of-production analysis for manufactured goods.

•    Audit & statutory compliance: Coordinate with external CA firm for statutory audit, tax audit, and finalisation of accounts. Ensure timely filing of all ROC/MCA compliances.

•    Vendor & customer accounts: Process vendor invoices, manage payment schedules, follow up on customer outstanding, and issue debit/credit notes as required.

Requirements•    B.Com / M.Com or equivalent; CA Inter preferred

•    4–8 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or trading company

•    Expert-level proficiency in Tally Prime (mandatory)

•    Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and income tax provisions

•    Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting

•    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

•    Ability to independently handle books without supervision

•    Good communication skills in Hindi/Gujarati; English proficiency a plus

Good to Have•    Experience in paper, packaging, or industrial goods industry

•    Knowledge of cost accounting / job costing

•    Familiarity with letter of credit (LC) and bank guarantee documentation

•    Experience handling payroll and PF/ESIC compliances

•    Prior experience coordinating with CA firm for audits
