Role Overview: Business Development Partner (Frontline Growth):
As a BDP, you will be the face of ShopDeck on the ground. You will identify high-potential local sellers and transform them into successful D2C brands. This is a high-energy, on-ground field sales role for true hustlers who love closing deals face-to-face.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Market Coverage: Conduct daily market visits to retail clusters and wholesale hubs to identify potential sellers (Fashion, Electronics, Home Decor, etc.).
- Merchant Acquisition: Pitch ShopDeck's value proposition to marketplace sellers (Amazon, Flipkart) and convince them to start their own D2C journey.
- Onboarding & Training: Handhold merchants through downloading the ShopDeck app, listing their first products, and processing initial orders.
- Relationship Management: Build strong local trust to generate referrals and ensure high merchant retention.
- Reporting: Maintain daily logs of shop visits, leads, and closures in the CRM app.
What We Are Looking For (Ideal Candidate):
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Field Sales, B2B Sales, or Merchant Onboarding.
- Preferred Background: Candidates who have worked with E-commerce onboarding teams (Flipkart, Amazon) or Fintech/Payment Gateways (Paytm, BharatPe, PhonePe).
- Mandatory Requirements: Must own a smartphone and a two-wheeler (Bike/Scooty) with a valid driving license.
- Languages: Fluency in Hindi and the local regional language is a must.
- Mindset: A tech-savvy hustler who is motivated by chasing daily targets and earning high incentives.
