The candidate is responsibly for Understands motor components and has a basic understanding of electrical theory. Rewind various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment, including but not limited to: single-phase, three-phase, dc fields, armatures, wound rotors, and transformers. Observe proper insulation techniques and/or requirements during rewinding. Rewind various kinds of induction motors for damage and evidence of electrical malfunctions. Test condition of windings Responsible for the production, overhaul and repair of Induction Motors including visual electrical and mechanical inspection, tests (resistance measurement of induction components), cleaning of apparatus, drying (over/vacuum), retests, re-insulates, (vacuum pressure impregnation as required), bearings installation and lubrication, and spin testing. Works with gauges, meters, micrometres, and other test instruments/equipment associated with induction apparatus repairs. Able to read and interpret schematics, tables, charts, manuals, prints, drawings, and other technical documents.
