Job Description

A service center telecaller is responsible for handling both inbound and outbound calls to manage customer inquiries, service appointments, and complaints. This role involves providing information, resolving issues, maintaining customer records, and following up on service requests to ensure customer satisfaction. Key skills include clear communication, problem-solving, and strong organizational abilities to meet call targets and provide excellent customer service. 

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls: Answer incoming calls from customers and make outbound calls to schedule appointments, provide service updates, or follow up on issues.
  • Customer support: Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide information: Explain service details, product features, and pricing to customers accurately.
  • Data management: Maintain accurate call logs and update customer records in the service center's database.
  • Appointment setting: Schedule, confirm, and reschedule service appointments for technicians.
  • Sales and promotion: Potentially promote new services or service packages to existing customers.


Skills and qualifications

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and active listening abilities.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and working under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining records.
  • Familiarity with using a computer and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Ability to follow scripts and company policies.
