Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician Must have valid passport. This is an onsite job in Abu Dhabi The client interview will be conducted in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. Job Responsibilities: Installation and Maintenance: Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems according to local regulations, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards. This includes wiring, control panels, detectors, alarms, and other related components. System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with fire alarm systems to identify and repair faults promptly. This may involve testing and replacing faulty components, resolving wiring problems, or addressing software issues. Code Compliance: Ensure that all fire alarm installations and maintenance activities comply with relevant local, national, and industry codes and standards. Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary modifications to systems to meet compliance requirements. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all activities, including installation, inspections, testing, and repairs. Keep detailed records of system configurations, wiring diagrams, and any modifications made to the fire alarm system. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as false alarms, system malfunctions, or actual fire incidents. Collaborate with emergency responders and other relevant authorities to address issues and ensure the proper functioning of the fire alarm system. Training and Education: Provide training to building occupants and staff on the proper use of fire alarm systems, including emergency evacuation procedures. Educate clients and end-users on best practices for fire safety and alarm system awareness. Upgrades and System Expansion: Stay informed about technological advancements in fire alarm systems and recommend upgrades or expansions to existing systems to enhance functionality and meet changing safety requirements. Coordinate with clients or building owners to implement necessary improvements.
