Job Description
- 📝 Key Responsibilities
- 1. Daily Accounting Work Record daily sales (Rooms/Restaurant/Banquets).
- Post all purchase bills, expenses & payments in accounting software (Tally).
- Handle cash, bank entries & reconciliations.
- Maintain petty cash and prepare daily/weekly MIS.
- 2. GST & Taxation Prepare monthly GST workings.
- Ensure timely GST payment & filing through CA.
- Maintain purchase registers with GST input.
- 3. Payroll & Statutory Prepare monthly payroll sheet.
- 4. Vendor & Inventory Coordination Maintain vendor ledgers.
- Follow up for vendor bills & payments.
- Coordinate with store & kitchen for GRN and inventory records.
- 5. Hotel-Specific Accounting Reconcile OTA (MMT, Booking.com, Agoda) payments & commissions.
- Handle guest ledger, advance payments & refund cases.
- Maintain banquet advance register.
- 6. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly P&L, expenses summary & budget variance.
- Coordinate with auditors during audits.
- 🧩 Skills Required Strong knowledge of Tally/Busy or hotel accounting systems.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, basic taxation.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Accuracy, punctuality & trustworthiness.
- Ability to handle workload independently.
- 🎓 Qualification B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance
- Hotel experience preferred but not mandatory.
