Job Description
An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role includes preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with audits and tax filings. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.
- Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS)
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure compliance with tax and financial reporting requirements
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits
- Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes
