Safety Officer

The Safety Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the safety management system at the project site, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and promoting a culture of safety among workers.

• Organize and conduct safety induction training, toolbox talks, and periodic training sessions for workers, supervisors, and engineers.
• Promote safety awareness through posters, signage, and other communication methods.
• Maintain records of incidents, injuries, and safety statistics.
• Ensure availability, proper use, and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
• monitor workers for compliance with PPE usage
• Ensure scaffolding, barricading, signage, and other safety measures are in place.
• Maintain safety registers, checklists, inspection reports, training records, and other safety documents.
• Ensure statutory registers (e.g., Accident Register, PPE Register) are updated.
• Coordinate with authorities for safety inspections/audits as needed.
