Job Description:
As a supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects and the safety of our clients and their assets. You will lead a team of technicians, overseeing their work, and ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards within established timelines. This position reports to the [Department Manager].
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:

Plan and coordinate project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and materials procurement.
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and workers.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Provide training and guidance to ensure team members' skill development and compliance with company policies.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all installations and services meet industry standards and comply with relevant codes and regulations.
Perform quality checks and inspections to verify the integrity of earthing and lightning protection systems.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Client Relations:

Maintain positive relationships with clients and address their inquiries and concerns.
Communicate project updates and progress reports to clients as required.

Documentation:

Accurately maintain project records, including installation reports, testing data, and maintenance logs.
Prepare and submit project documentation in a timely manner.

Materials Management:

Manage inventory levels of materials and equipment required for projects.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of necessary resources.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in project execution.
Collaborate with the management team to implement best practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
knowledge of AutoCAD is must.
Proven experience (at least 1 to 3 years) in earthing and lightning protection projects or a similar field.
Work experience with TATA group, Usha Martin will be highly preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC).
Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

Technical Skills:
Earthing and Grounding Systems: Proficiency in installing, and maintaining earthing and grounding systems, including knowledge of different grounding electrodes, soil resistivity, and grounding calculations.
Lightning Protection Systems: Understanding of lightning protection principles, including the installation and maintenance of lightning rods, conductors, and surge protection devices.
Electrical Systems: Familiarity with electrical systems and components, including electrical diagrams, distribution panels, and circuitry.
Testing and Inspection: Ability to conduct comprehensive testing and inspection of earthing and lightning protection systems, such as soil resistivity testing, continuity testing, and surge protection testing.
Safety Standards: Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations, including NFPA 780, IEEE 80, and relevant local codes.

Possession of industry-recognized certifications, such as Certified Lightning Protection Specialist (CLPS), Certified Grounding Specialist (CGS), or equivalent.
JNTVTI Training: Successful completion of specialized training programs from institutions such as the Joint National Technical and Vocational Training Institute (JNTVTI) or equivalent, focused on earthing, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
Equipment Operation: Competence in operating specialized equipment used in earthing and lightning protection installations, such as ground resistance testers and surge suppressor testers.
