Job Title: Delivery Person
Responsibilities:
Transportation of Goods:

Safely and efficiently transport goods or packages from one location to another.
Ensure the secure and timely delivery of items to designated addresses.

Vehicle Operation:

Operate a delivery vehicle (car, van, truck, bicycle, motorcycle, etc.) in a safe and responsible manner.
Follow traffic laws and maintain awareness of road and traffic conditions.

Loading and Unloading:

Load and unload goods onto and from the delivery vehicle.
Verify the accuracy of items being transported, checking against delivery documentation.

Route Planning:

Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
Use navigation tools and devices to optimize routes.

Customer Interaction:

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
Answer customer inquiries and address concerns professionally.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform basic maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle, such as checking fuel levels, oil, and tire pressure.
Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, delivery confirmations, and any issues encountered during the delivery process.

Adherence to Policies:

Adhere to company policies and procedures related to delivery operations.
Comply with safety regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:
Driver's License:

Possession of a valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle used.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
Stamina to handle a physically demanding job.

Communication Skills:

Good communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers.

Time Management:

Effective time management and organizational skills.
