Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Store Manager located in Navi Mumbai. The Store Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing staff, overseeing inventory management, supervising retail loss prevention efforts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Store Manager will also be responsible for maintaining store cleanliness, implementing promotional activities and campaigns to increase sales, and developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient store operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for desserts, excellent leadership skills, and a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee the overall operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
Manage and maintain high levels of customer service, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all customers.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed to maintain optimal stock.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service.
Schedule and organise staff shifts, considering peak business hours and special events.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Financial Management:
Monitor and analyse sales and financial reports to identify areas for improvement and growth.
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
Manage and control operating costs to ensure profitability targets are met.
Handle cash management, including deposits and reconciliations.
Marketing and Promotions:
Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the store and attract new customers.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create enticing promotions and events.
Utilise social media and other channels to engage with the community and build brand awareness.
Quality Control:
Ensure the consistent quality of products.
Monitor food safety and sanitation standards to comply with health regulations.
Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
Business Development:
Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure a reliable and high-quality product supply.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.


Qualifications
Customer Service and Communication skills
Experience in Store Management
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention best practices
Proven ability to optimise customer satisfaction
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Experience with inventory management software is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi
Knowing Bengali is a plus

Regularly clean and sanitise display cases and utensils.

Customer Relations:
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Seek customer feedback to improve service and product offerings.

Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen or production team to relay customer requests or special orders.


Qualifications:
Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
