We acknowledge that some candidates do not pick up the calls from HRs. Let us share insights about this problem from our recruiting experience:
Experienced candidates
Almost 75% of working candidates are looking for better opportunities, however since they are already working, traveling, or maybe with their colleagues or managers, they shy away from attending interview calls. Our recommendation is to send them a WhatsApp message asking for the best time to connect on a short call. We strongly recommend mutually agreeing on the time to speak on call.
Fresher candidates
We have noticed that some freshers are not picking up HR calls, and we believe it may be due to low confidence. As freshers enter the job market, they often face new and unfamiliar situations, which can lead to feelings of uncertainty and nervousness. This lack of confidence may cause them to hesitate in picking up calls or engaging in direct communication. It is crucial for HRs to make these candidates create a supportive environment for these candidates, where they feel comfortable and encouraged to participate actively in the hiring process.
It is important to remember that each individual may have unique reasons for not being able to respond to your calls, and a personalized approach may be necessary. Thank you for your understanding and collaboration.
