How can I get candidates with relevant experience?

Most of the time, recruiters notice that candidates who do not have the basic requirements apply for their jobIts because some important parameters are not selected while job posting

 

Here are a few examples of the common concerns that recruiters share with us:


Let's discuss some of these concerns in-depth and the possible solution that you can do by making simple edits in your jobs on your own.
 



Before delving into individual problems, let's check where to find the edit button


 

I am not getting candidates with relevant industry experience

Once you click on the edit option, you can make the following changes to get candidates with relevant industry experiences. 

  1. Click on the job you want to edit and select Edit option from the top right corner. (PS: You can only edit active jobs)

 


2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on the Edit/Pencil button. You will land on Candidate Requirements page

 


3. Scroll down to the "Previous industry preference" field. Search and select the industries in which candidates should have prior experience for this job, as shown in the below image.


You can add up to 10 industries for your job.


After the edit, click on the "Continue" button until you see the "Update Job" button. 


Agree to the terms and conditions and click on Update Job button.

I am not getting candidates with specific skills 

  1. Click on the Edit option.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the continue button. You will land on the second page, Candidate Requirements
  3. You will see two sections on the page: Skill preference and Asset(s) required for this job, as shown in the below image


    In the above example, you can see after selecting the skills button you can add relevant required skills
  • After the edit, click on the "Continue" button until you see the "Finish and Post" button. Agree to the terms and conditions and click on Finish and Post button.

Candidates don't speak English. I want candidates with good English.

  1. Click on the edit option
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on the continue button. You will land on the Candidate Requirement page
  3. Find the English level required section on the page as shown below and select the right option


 


 

I wanted a ITI/ Diploma candidate. I am getting applications from 10th and 12th Pass

  1. Click on the Edit option
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on the continue button. You will land on the Candidate Requirement page
  3. Select the level of minimum qualifications required - Graduate or Postgraduate, if your job requires people with a college education.
  4. We recommend you to keep educational requirements to 10th or 12th Pass unless the role requires a college education. The lesser the education, the more applications you receive.
