At the heart of DecodeX lies a commitment to real-world applicability. Unlike traditional competitions, DecodeX propels participants into diverse business domains, challenging them to unravel complex scenarios spanning finance, marketing, healthcare and technology.

  • Current college students pursuing graduation/post graduation in any discipline.
  • Students can form cross-course, cross-college and cross-year teams as well.

Rounds

Round 1: Online MCQ Assessment

Round 1: Online MCQ Assessment

The preliminary assessment will be an Online MCQ Assessment. The test will comprise of 20 MCQ questions to be answered in 20 minutes based on Data Interpretation and Analytics. Only the team leader will be allowed to take the test.

Round 2: Business Use-Case (Offline Event on Campus)

Round 2: Business Use-Case (Offline Event on Campus)

The shortlisted teams will be invited to the N. L. Dalmia Campus, Mumbai for the final round where the case study will be released on Day 1. The algorithms, analytical tools, and techniques to tackle the problem statement are at the discretion of the participants. Submissions, including a detailed report in a Word document, a PowerPoint presentation, and other analytical artifacts such as a Jupyter Notebook (.ipynb) file, etc, for the jury, are expected by 10 AM on 15th February, 2025. The teams must bring their systems for solving the Business Use Case.
