Job Description:-

Responsible for coordinating and overseeing the dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and nutraceutical products. Plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, compliance with safety standards, and optimizing transportation logistics across all delivery routes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:-

·       Coordinate and monitor dispatch activities to ensure on-time deliveries and pickups.

·       Maintain up-to-date records of outgoing shipments, including shipping documentation, logs, and delivery receipts.

·       Liaise with transport vendors, internal departments, and warehouse staff to streamline dispatch operations.

·       Organize daily dispatch schedules based on order priorities, customer locations, and vehicle capacity.

·       Track shipment progress and provide status updates to relevant stakeholders.

·       Verify that loaded goods meet quality and safety standards specific to food and nutraceutical products.

·       Address issues such as delays, route changes, and customer concerns in a timely manner.

·       Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies on transportation and food handling.

·       Monitor and report KPIs related to delivery efficiency, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

·       Support inventory accuracy through coordination with warehouse and sales teams.

Job Requirements:-

·      Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced logistics environment.

·      Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

·      Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

·      Capability to use dispatch or logistics software and basic MS Office tools.

·      Knowledge of transportation regulations and food safety standards.

·      Ability to troubleshoot delivery issues and implement corrective actions swiftly.

Preferred:-

·      A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in dispatch or logistics role, preferably in the food, nutraceutical or pharmaceutical industry

·      Demonstrated experience in managing, storing, and handling chemicals and pharmaceutical samples

·      Knowledge of shipping procedures and courier services is required

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for tracking and reporting is required

·      Familiarity with cold chain management and temperature-sensitive product handling.

·      Certification in logistics, supply chain management, or food safety (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FSSAI).

·      Background in working with ERP or warehouse management systems or ERP and dispatch software proficiency (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite)

Education:-

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Diploma in transportation, inventory management, or warehouse operations or a related field.
