Job Description

job Summary:The Field Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and acquiring new customers, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets. They will act as a liaison between the company and its customers, ensuring product availability, solving problems, and promoting new products or services in the field.

  • Key Responsibilities: Sales Generation: Actively prospect for new business by identifying potential clients, visiting customers, and meeting sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Understand customer needs and recommend products or services to meet those needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the products or services offered by the company and explain the benefits to customers.
  • Sales Presentations: Present and sell company products or services to current and potential clients, either individually or in groups.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and business opportunities.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market conditions to the Sales Manager or relevant supervisor.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer queries, complaints, and product-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and prices with customers and close sales deals.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams like marketing, customer service, and logistics to ensure smooth operations and delivery to customers.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications : Proven experience in field sales or similar sales roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Good understanding of the industry and market trends.
  • Proficiency in using sales CRM software.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and work under pressure to meet targets.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with B2B or B2C sales, depending on the industry.
  • Familiarity with the product/service offerings in the field.
