Job Description

Role Summary :

The Front Desk Executive is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests, efficiently handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing reservations, and responding to guest queries to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests courteously on arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Handle room reservations, cancellations, amendments, and guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability, bookings, and guest details in the PMS/front office system.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments regarding room status, guest requests, and special arrangements.
  • Manage guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate to seniors when required.
  • Process payments, prepare bills, and maintain cash/credit card transaction records accurately.
  • Provide information on hotel facilities, services, local attractions, transportation, and dining options.
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, presentable, and well-organized at all times.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety, and security guidelines of the hotel.


Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate in Hotel Management or any discipline; diploma in hospitality will be an added advantage.

  • Previous experience in front office or customer service, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Good communication skills in English and local language; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Pleasant personality, well-groomed, and guest-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with hotel PMS/front office software preferred.
  • Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
