Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Editing & Post-Production: Review raw footage, select the best shots, and assemble, edit, and splice video/film into a cohesive, high-quality final product.
• Audio & Graphics: Enhance footage with sound effects, voice-overs, music, and motion graphics.
• Color Correction/Grading: Adjust lighting and color to ensure consistent visual quality and style.
• Collaboration: Work with directors and producers to translate creative, technical, and storytelling ideas into the final product.
• File Management: Organize and maintain a library of video assets, adhering to strict naming conventions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and resolution settings.
• Storytelling: Ability to create a compelling narrative through editing.
• Experience: Proven work experience as a video editor or in post-production (portfolio required).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or a related field (often preferred but not always required)
